I-Hopp has been an enigma since birth. She was born with some laxity of her flexor tendons which completely tightened with age and, possibly, some vitamin therapy; she had a mis-aligned bite as a juvenile which has since corrected itself; and, she exhibited a very nice fleece as a juvenile with decent fineness, from her dam, and excellent density inherited from her Accoyo sire, but her last fiber test shows a rather dramatic change in fineness though she retains her density. Now we question I-Hopp's breeding quality, so we have bred her to our full Peruvian Chaparrito to observe her this spring as a dam. Then, we will evaluate the overall birthing process and assess the quality of her cria to determine I-Hopp's future in the herd.
