KELSY
Kelsy is our “super-mom,” giving birth to big healthy crias 5 times for us with great birth weights of 21, 22, and 25 lbs.(twice), despite her medium-sized frame of 140 lbs. Also, with great courtesy on her part, she does all the work herself and has even timed the births for late-morning, sunny-day deliveries each time. She “ain’t purdy” by alpaca standards, but she has allowed the macho’s genetics to dominate, as evidenced by a class champion bay black daughter, Kiero, and red-ribbon 2004 son, Tachon’s Dominero, who impressed judges with his density and conformation. Her 2005 cria, Joven, didn't make the cut as Herdsire potential, but his gentle disposition makes him a good companion male. Kelsy had a female in 2006 named "Odilolly". Her 2007 cria is a white male named Toulouse.
